Sasse Museum of Art in Southern California's Inland Empire has just released its fifth juried exhibit catalog, The City: Artists' Perspective. Bringing together works by more than 100 artists from the United States, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, this catalog explores the beauty that can be found in urban life as people numbering in the thousands or millions carry out their days side by side. The pieces featured in the publication demonstrate that cities are not merely backdrops but collaborators in the stories people tell about progress, belonging, and modern existence. In addition to high-quality images of the 105 works selected for the show, the publication also features extended, four-page portfolios of my work along with that of artists Chick Curtis, Justine Crowley, and Roberta Masciarelli.
